1) drink iced cold water. this burn calories as ur insides warm the water up. (i read this from a womens' mag that day) sth like that...haha. but i like my water warm leh.
2) eat before 8pm everyday and snack on low-fat things. (which i dun. i hardly snack tho)
3) exercise regularly and tone yourself up as you're slimming down.
4) no supper unless you decide to give up slimming down.
5) eat whatever you want, in your dreams. :)
i sound absolutely mean.
but all of the above, i dont follow them!
(except i eat dinner before 8 yes.)

i think this shall be one of my classic moments.
was waiting for my sister while she went to collect something. she called me (after like so long!) then i had to walk over to meet her. and yeah. here's the exciting part.
the slipper kinda broke. the strap i meant. haha and the part where u kiap ur first two toes came off. and so i was flipping the shoe ard. shocked of course. lol. and you know what? i was clutching my hp at that time. and my da jie's sms came in: "dress in champagne gold....etc...want?" she was referring to the jiemei dress we had to wear for her wedding. yeah. altho i think gold would be the colour the older (and mature friends-jiemeis) suit. yeah.
dang. i wanted electric blue lah. erms. okay.
and so i was half-waving to my sis for help. erps. pathetic. while dragging the poor right foot along. she helped to buy the new slippers. but eh. dun really like it.
erm. yeah. a lil exp for sth i dun really fancy. sigh. oh well..
anyway i heard SOMEONE found out about this blog. read all you like. have nothing to hide.

oh. well. some thoughts i had while i was there..
i think its pretty amazing we have so many different languages in the family.
there's the usual dialects like teochew, hokkien and all..
and esp in msia, they speak canto as well. i think.
and malay, english, a little chinese.
lets see...and i can only speak 2 and a half of that list. lol. teochew a lil i suppose (thats the half)
i think they didnt know i understand lah. im just a silent eavesdropper. lol.
i do wanna learn more languages. (self-assumed linguist) or rather im pretty interested. heh.
french, spanish, thai, and some chinese dialects. maybe arabic and japanese? hoho!
i wonder how long i'll take to learn them all. ms japan last year was really talented (i heard 6 languages?) nice. :D
nothing much on the trip. only went clothes-shopping at the big big mall. it was a flop. not much time AND the prices were scary. after conversion it was still a lil more exp than our's. imagine a 200RM bag? i wonder how many can seriously afford buying these on a LT. but apparently, there are people who do that. else, the shop wld have closed eons ago.
oh well. topshop was renovating. pity. i would have loved to take a look around.
maybe we were at the high-end side of the mall.
dang. should have gone to the other side! roar.
yesterday night i was searching for recipes while i was (hungry) and bored. found some really good ones! am hoping to try them all out. Of course, IF the oven doesnt trip the whole house and all. it happened the last time i made a choco cake for mother's day. [[yeah it wasnt superbly pretty or delish, but hey, from a recipe and baking noob like me, i count it a good effort! dark chocolate wasnt my favourite though.. :\]]
we'll just see how it goes! (:

its been a hectic day. not that i did anything much.
had a day off work. dad wasnt in the office either.
but the whole day ive been listening to #^&*(!
no lah. nothing vulgar, just nagging and talking and complaining. (not at me or By me either) t
the new maid just arrived. and apparently knows less than she should. GAH.
mum's been pretty stressed out. everytime she complains to me i feel like tuning out. because you know, office politics and whatnots spreads back home too. :(

and yeah, im hoping the person(s) in question buck up and the other be less demanding.
my stand? both of you cant do without the other.

i do wish i have my self-confidence back. somehow or rather along the way, i kinda lost it.
and yeah. i ALWAYS lose things. and NEVER (or hardly) find them. material items i mean.

wanted to blog about the msia trip i had recently. but didnt really get down to it. so it seems, sitting in front of the computer and no one else online does seem to be pretty boring. wait, not 'seem'. IT IS! :<
oh well.
anyway, although i dreaded being alone (w/o my sisters) on that trip to grandma's house, it wasnt all that bad. although i did spend some time reading on the sofa, i wasnt really 'disturbed'. im not some entertainer anyway.
yeah..thought about certain things, observed a little..that's what i usually do anyway. kpoh lah. and ya know, gossip really is juicy. not that i would spread them. -zips-
i sudd thought of the time (when i was quite young of course) i scotch-taped my mouth when mum scolded me really badly for being too noisy. clever eh? i even fell asleep on the floor beside mum's bed. she found me eventually. i think she said i was foolish or sth along that line. hey, i was just a kid. but hmm.. i dun really have much memories of my childhood. nothing significant i suppose. looks like i have stm AND ltm (long term memory-loss).
right.
i drifted off again!
anyway, what's worth mentioning is that i do think the men in my family are all good drivers. i know for sure my uncle is one. he can REALLY manouvre the car into this tight space. (couldnt find the chinese software in the com so have to use uncle and aunt all the way :T) mind you, it was the bigger h onda car. oh yes, it seems that they love japanese cars too. :D good taste i'd say. hahaha.
the trip there was rather uneventful. we stopped by our usual haunt for noodles before moving onto kl. dad said the quality went down. prolly we'll find a new haunt next time. good for the tummy. gosh.
