wished i was there to send my parents off overseas. because of someone, i had to stay home. mum said "so as not to think that nobody cares about her". truth is, it wouldnt make a difference. im crazy to her anyway. nobody even stepped on her toes. look who's talking.

been meeting up with some of my friends. its real nice to see them all again.
20th dec - met up with by, xm, xw, mel, cel & sam for a bday celebration. took quite long to decide what to get for them. but hopefully they liked it. at least the 5 of us did. (it certainly isnt easy for all 5 of us to decide on something we all find nice. hehe) we then went to minds' at boat quay for games. haha my 1st time there. pretty fun. i think i shrieked one too many times :s the dinosaur bone game was fun la. heart-racing fun. (:
23rd dec - dental appt (1st followup after braces) at 11am. went alone cos mum's busy. almost ran late. but i ran into the clinic. haha and the patient walked out right after. so i was just on time. lol. changed my red rubber bands to purple! (glad i took the brighter and lighter coloured purple) i think its nice! yay. (the font colour is pretty similar to what i have now, except its a tad darker on my braces) surprisingly it didnt feel very tight.
after that i hanged out at amk for a bit before gg to PS to meet the band peeps. yx was earlier than 1pm, so he met up with me and we walked around a bit. hmm, later on jj, david, cy and shimin started coming. waited quite a bit outside the sushi place before we got our big table. hmm had udon. min and i waited quite a bit for our 'simpler' dishes. quite surprising.
went daiso, gelare for waffles (which i sat out cos i was still full).
david remembered to save space in his tummy for waffles. guess he has a sweet tooth.
took a few pics. some were pretty unglam. not surprising, since yx was behind the cam. -.-
gosh. was reading chong's blog and i felt pretty emotional. hmm i dont think im brave enough to head overseas like her. hmm chong, if you're reading this, please take loads of care okay!!! and bring heat packs and lip balms and vaseline + first-aid kit box!
okay, im rattling. im sure she's thought of these.

havent been updating. haha kinda bored now so might as well. :)
adding some pics i took today. mum & dad (sorta) made tang yuan today!
yeah and i like the tang yuan mum makes (instead of the ones with filling - altho i love the red bean filling too) hers is just dough (??) with no filling.
this is meant to be green. guess mum didnt put enough pandan 'juice'. (she's inspired by the 9pm nyonya show to use natural ingredients) haha she wanted to extract blue from the blueflower (but that takes too much work..& we have to steal from our neighbours if we want the flower)
this is the pinkish-purple/red tangyuan. depending on what colour you see it as. haha. and guess what it's made of?

dragonfruit! :) its an acquired taste. we were all apprehensive having tried the white one (cos its sour.) but thankfully the red one is sweet. and we started liking it. :)
